Janitors, Bellhops, and friends on a 6-player Lycke BETA server.
Hotel Tycoon 2 is a small-server tycoon. A plot holds six Roblox players. You can run the hotel alone, or invite friends to build and serve on the same save. This hub covers the people — hired NPCs and human teammates — who keep rooms turning over.
NPC staff
Two named roles have badges in the BETA:
- Janitor — remakes beds and handles dirty linens so you are not glued to the washer. The Top Janitor badge tracks a level 5 upgrade (the Roblox description currently reuses Bellhop wording; the badge name is the hint).
- Bellhop — walks guests to rooms. Once the Bellhop is online, you can stay in build mode instead of sprinting across the lobby. Top Bellhop is the level 5 badge.

Do not treat staff as a skip for laundry furniture. A Janitor with no washer still fails. Place the machine from the Laundry catalog first.
Human players
Servers cap at six. That is enough for:
- One owner in build mode
- One friend on laundry
- One friend on guest clicks until a Bellhop exists
- Extra builders on a second floor or outdoor deck
It is not a 50-player hangout. If the plot feels lagged, ask two people to leave before you place more glass elevator segments. Private VIP servers are not enabled on this universe, so you work with public 6-player shards.
Co-op rules and etiquette sit on multiplayer. Cash is shared on the plot; Diamonds and gamepasses stay on the Roblox account that bought them. Codes also redeem per account — see how to redeem.
Who should click what
Until staff exists, split the loop:
- Player A watches the door and clicks guests.
- Player B runs baskets to the washer (the laundry shot on our home overview is this job).
- Player C stays in the catalog and expands rooms from the rooms tier list.
After a Bellhop and Janitor are hired, humans should only build, decorate, and chase badges. Fighting the NPC for the same guest wastes time.
