Every Hotel Tycoon 2 catalog looks expensive when you are holding 3,000 cash. This list ranks groups, not every stool, so you can open build mode and know which folder is S-tier. Prices quoted from public Outdoor shots (bin $95 through pool $400) will drift in BETA; the order should not.

S-tier: Beds

S-tier: Laundry
The washer and the basket walk are the identity of this BETA. Promotional art is literally a player holding linens next to a machine at 0x. Skip this and stars fall. A Janitor does not replace the machine; they use it. Staff list.
A-tier: Bathroom and pathing

Outdoor bins and benches are A because they are cheap and they sit on the walk from the road. A $95 bin is a better first Outdoor buy than a $400 pool.
B-tier: Activities and amenities
Once 3-star is stable, guests need something besides sleep. That is when these folders matter. They are not how you escape a 2-star hole. Use the star checklist to know when you have earned them.
C-tier: Art and water

- Open Laundry. One machine per room cluster.
- Open Bathroom.
- Fix doors.
